The Ringwatch Concept....by Gigitsu

Maybe its not as flashy as the Tokyo Flash watches, or LG's new "Dick Tracy" like watch, but i think its an interesting concept. It's probably been done already but i don't know this, and to me, i came up with the idea myself.

Basically, its a watch with a completely black face, and two rings that light up. How you tell the time is by looking at the part of the ring thats shaddowed. I'm trying to figure out a way to make this work but as it stands, my idea is to have an analog watch in the background somewhere. The hands are what shadows the rings. I'll figure something out. Maybe a nice touch would be an OLED display in the centre? Or maybe the whole damn things could be OLED and the rings and stuff are digital? Or we could have a string of LED's around there and the one that indicates the time shuts off to make a black spot?

But you get the concept right? An hour or so fiddling with Fireworks and i managed to make this....
